Our eighteen contestants are welcomed back for a third season, and must compete in building a float for the school. One team was able to impress Chris and win the challenge, another team came in second place, while another team came in last place, but since it was a non-elimination challenge, no one was sent home.

The episode begins with Chris introducing the contestants to another season of Total Drama - Total Drama High School. Trent is still trying to win Gwen back, which makes Duncan angry. Ezekiel arrives wearing a full body cast, which makes Justin think he's lying about it, since he saw him moving. Petey comes back, which excites Ezekiel and he bends over to pick him up, which reveals himself a fraud, leaving everyone on bad terms with Ezekiel already. Chris sets up the teams; Team Rapid, Team Tornado and Team Lightning. Lindsay is upset since Tyler is on another team and not with her. The challenge was to build a float for the school, since Chris said he had to make it look like someone actually worked there. Team Rapid built a float of Chris, Team Tornado built a float of Total Drama history, and Team Lightning built a float of Lady BlaBla's music video "Bad Romance". Team Rapid was the winner by far, as Chris said he loved good old fashion sucking up. Chris told everyone that it was a non-elimination episode, so no one went home, which would have been Team Tornado.
